Change is good...

I keep telling myself that change is good. But this change will take a lot of getting used to. After having Richard & Nickie and their children live with us for a year, they have moved to Utah! Richard has finished Vet school, will graduate in two weeks and will start an internship with a Vet clinic in South Jordan, Utah. They have found an adorable house to rent for the time being in a wonderful neighborhood with a park and everything! It has been a challenging, but fun year as we have gotten to know Nickie, Sadie & Mason better and were privileged to be so close for the birth of Kendyl in December and getting to hold her and spoil her. Living with small children in the house again was an adjustment, but we were so happy to have them here and will miss the whole family terribly! We love our kids and grandkids and are happy to have them in our lives.

We drove up with Richard and Nickie, in separate vehicles, of course, so that we

could get all their stuff up to their new house. Ryan helped us with the trailer. We stopped in Aurora to visit with Grandma Heagle on the way to their new home

Then after we unloaded all their things, we stopped in Alpine to visit with Kelli & Adam's family. They are renting a home on a beautiful piece of property where the kids have plenty of room.

All in all, it was a fun trip, but I felt like I was leaving my children behind.
